Service Description

Having a Salon is hard work, and between all the behind the scenes work and general business management, there may be little time left to offer your Nail Techs some individual training to get their skills to a top notch level. That's where I come in. As a Nail Technician myself and an Educator at The Academy of Nail Careers I can offer your technicians something many others can't- consistent and up to date knowledge on (almost) everything Acrylic Nail related. In a Salon group setting, I teach the group as I do my students at the Nail Academy. With a very hands on approach tailored to each individual. To assess their skill level I first watch each tech individually as they perform an acrylic nail service on themselves or another. My goal is to assess the angles, techniques, hand movements, product use, comfort and over all knowledge and performance of each individual tech in order to understand their specific skill level and offer them the best possible resources and techniques for their individual needs. It is a 6 hour and 30 minute Training session. We will take a 30 Minute break for lunch. During the training, we will go over: - Proper Infection Control practices before each service -How to greet and consult with the client prior to beginning service. -Proper Nail Plate Preparation (Basic Manicure) -Proper Liquid to Powder Ratios -Product use and understanding -Acrylic Application -Tip application and shaping -Hand and E-filing uses and techniques -Proper Application of Gel Polish systems -Creating 'The Perfect Ombre', The most popular and highly requested Acrylic service. -Troubleshooting, understanding what certain things indicate. -How to minimize product lifting for higher client satisfaction -Client Retention and so much more! This is an intense 6 hours. I highly recommend a second class. In my experience, most techs need a second class to apply all the information processed. They will however, each receive a package with information, reminders & a checklist to help them along in their journey to perfecting their craft. A regular 1 on 1 session is $650 for a 6.5 hour Individual training session. For a Salon group of up to 5 Licensed Techs, I offer the group training at discounted rate. Technicians must supply their own products, implements & tools. This is important as this allows me to teach them their proper use. I will bring my own supplies.
