Learn and Practice the Fundamentals and Basics of Acrylic Nails. Or are you starting out and want to learn how to do Acrylic Nails for yourself and family? If so, you've found the right place! As a Nail Technician myself and an Educator at The Academy of Nail Careers I can offer you something many others can't- consistent and up to date knowledge on (almost) everything Acrylic Nail related. Mastering the fundamentals of acrylic nails is essential as it establishes a strong foundation for your business and client retention. It also enables you to provide high-quality service, helps you troubleshoot any issues (which will* arise) and allows for creative exploration. By investing time and effort into learning and understanding these fundamentals, you can excel in the field of acrylic nails and provide an exceptional experience for both yourself and your clients, which in turn- keeps them coming back again and again! During the Class we will: Get very hands on learning how to: Properly Prep the Nail, Apply Acrylic, hand file and Efile in order to achieve a long lasting beautifully crafted Nail enhancement. • Go over the implements, tools and products to help you master their use properly. • Practice proper techniques for preparing the Natural nail without causing damage. • Practice application of nail tips and different shapes. • Practice and develop techniques and understanding of Liquid to Powder ratios, their angles and how to develop proper consistency each time. • Practice Acrylic Application on varying shapes and lengths with proper techniques. • Practice shaping, using- Hand filing and E-filing, learn what grit files to use, their angles and techniques for each varying nail shape. • How to Properly use Gel Top Coat. A take home kit is included in the Total Class Price All tools and implements to do a basic full set. • Monomer Liquid • Acrylic Powder • Primer/Dehydrator • Hand File • Buffer • Kolinsky Nail brush sizes 12 • Gel Top Coat *Drill and Drill Bits are NOT INCLUDED.
