As a Nail Technician myself and an Educator at The Academy of Nail Careers I can offer you something many others can't- consistent and up to date knowledge on (almost) everything Acrylic Nail related. Welcome to Nail Fundamentals, where we Master the Basics to take our skill to the next level. Hi, I'm Adalicia. Nail Artist, and Educator at ANC. The Academy of Nail Careers. Mastering the fundamentals of acrylic nails is essential as it establishes a strong foundation for your business and client retention. It also enables you to provide high-quality service, helps you troubleshoot any issues (which will* arise) and allows for creative exploration. By investing time and effort into learning and understanding these fundamentals, you can excel in the field of acrylic nails and provide an exceptional experience for both yourself and your clients, which in turn- keeps them coming back again and again! During the training we will: Firstly, Review Infection Control Practices and offer Client Retention tips. • Go over the implements, products and processes you currently use, to help you master their use properly. • Develop and practice proper techniques for prepping the Natural nail w/o causing damage. • Practice application of nail tips, and how to troubleshoot. • Practice and develop techniques and understanding of Liquid to Powder ratios, their angles and how to develop proper consistency each time. • Practice Acrylic Application on varying shapes and lengths with proper techniques. • Practice shaping, using- Hand filing and E-filing, learn what grit files to use, their angles and techniques for each varying nail shape. • Go over any questions and expectations you may have during the training. A take home kit is included in the Total Class Price of $650 If you do not need or want a Kit, your price is $550 Without Kit- What YOU need to bring- All tools and implements to do a basic full set. • Monomer Liquid • Acrylic Powders (3-4 options) • Primer/Dehydrator • Drill and Drill Bits • Hand File • Buffer • Kolinsky Nail brush sizes 10 or 12.
